We are committed to promoting press freedom, ethical journalism, and media development in Tanzania. As part of the World Press Freedom Day Committee, we collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Government of Tanzania, UNESCO Tanzania others, to advocate for media rights and a free, independent press.
Our work focuses on raising awareness of critical issues such as journalists' safety, misinformation, media regulations, and digital transformation. We facilitate meaningful discussions among policymakers, media professionals, and civil society to strengthen Tanzania's media landscape.
We organize and support panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, and award ceremonies that recognize contributions to press freedom. These efforts ensure continued advocacy for transparency, accountability, and unrestricted access to information. Through collaboration and innovation, we strive to uphold media independence and foster a well-informed society.
